Forge London collects the following:
- Your name and email address;
- Tracking data.
HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?
You directly provide Forge London with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Voluntarily send us a message through the contact form;
- Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies;
- Sign up to join the club.
HOW WILL WE USE YOUR DATA?
Forge London collects your data so that we can:
- Communicate with you regarding your query;
- Improve our website and monitor its usage;
- Process and monitor your club membership.
As a club member your information may be shared on the club website, social media pages or in emails sent by the club. This data will only be shared in the event that either you are a club volunteer, have participated in a race or challenge event or have recorded a major achievement. This data will be limited to your name, race results (if applicable) and details of your achievement. Limited further information about you may be included; for example, whether you have participated in a juniors’ race or a women’s race.
HOW DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?
Forge London securely stores your data using third-party cloud software such as British Cycling’s Membership Portal.
BRITISH CYCLING MEMBERSHIP PORTAL
When you become a member of or renew your membership with Forge London CC you will be registered for an online account with British Cycling. We will provide British Cycling with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called My Dashboard) on the British Cycling website. British Cycling will use your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Notice which can be accessed at https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/staticcontent/info–Privacy-Policy-0. British Cycling will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your dashboard (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is shared with British Cycling, please contact email@example.com.
Forge London may like to send you information about products and services that we think you might like. If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.
You have the right at any time to stop Forge London from contacting you for marketing purposes.
WHAT ARE YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS?
Forge London would like to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – you have the right to request Forge London for copies of your personal data.
The right to rectification – you have the right to request that Forge London correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Forge London to complete information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure – you have the right to request that Forge London erase your personal data, under certain circumstances.
The right to restrict processing – you have the right to request that Forge London restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain circumstances.
The right to object to processing – you have the right to object to Forge London’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability – you have the right to request that Forge London transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
