I have cycled most of my life but took up road cycling seriously after being inspired by the London 2012 Olympics Games and the success of the British team.

I am mainly a social rider. I really enjoy being outdoors, taking in the view wherever I’m riding.  I love heading out to different places whether that’s from Kingston or much further afield and appreciating the change of scenery.

Before joining Forge I had been commuting to work by bike and was a member of a social cycling club. I wanted to improve my riding technique and fitness, and meet more like-minded people.
