What kind of rider are you?
I challenge myself to try any type of ride. whether it be a social, 315km audax, hilly rides or a criterium race, you name it, I’ll do it just for the experience.
How often do you ride?
I tend to ride 200km in about 3 to 4 rides a week.
Why do you ride?
I took up cycling seven years ago when I gave up smoking to get fit. It soon turned into something I got good at.
I really enjoy meeting other riders from different walks of life. Riding gives me a sense of wellbeing and accomplishment.
Do you have any cycling targets this year?
My targets this year was to gain enough points criterium racing to get to Category 3. Although I haven’t achieved that this year, with the knowledge and experience I’ve gained, my sights are set to do it next year!
When you’re not cycling, what do you get up to?
I enjoy photography, going to gigs and outdoor cooking.
